this Page Krista J. Clark, PT, FAAOMPT, Midway, Utah After attending the University of Utah, Krista Clark received her physical therapy degree at University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1984. She later completed the Kaiser Hayward Physical Therapy Residency Program in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 1989. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) and served on that organization’s executive board. Ms.
Clark has actively practiced in her profession since 1984. In
Chicago,
Illinois and San Diego, California she worked in hospitals in
general
acute care including orthopedic, neurological, medical, and cardiac
rehabilitation. She also has experience in pediatric
neurological
rehabilitation, burn/wound care, geriatric nursing home, and home
health care. In the San Francisco Bay area, California and Chapel Hill,
North Carolina she practiced in her specialty area of orthopaedic
manual physical therapy and taught continuing education courses for
physical therapists. She was a co-founder of Synergistic
Health
Center in Chapel Hill. This multi-disciplinary integrative
health center working with mind, body, spirit approaches to health is
still in operation today, although the name has been changed. Ms. Clark turned over her interest in the center when she returned to Utah. She currently owns and operates Wellspring Physical Therapy, a private practice in Midway, Utah. |
